1. Will my health insurance cover therapy?

I am a contracted provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Tufts Health Plan; however, I am also an out-of-network provider, so I can provide you with a SuperBill that you provide to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your health insurance to inquire about coverage for outpatient mental health services.

2. How long will therapy take before I notice a difference?

Unfortunately, there is not a concise answer to this important question. Some of this has to do with how motivated the individual is to work hard and to practice the strategies outside of therapy. Regardless, we will work together to discuss what success looks like for you or your child and we will continue to make adjustments to meet those goals.

3. How do I schedule an appointment for therapy?

Please email or call to schedule a time for us to speak by phone. We can discuss the reason for seeking therapy. From there, we can discuss details and decide if we should move forward with an intake session. It is very important that we both feel that I will be a good match for you or your child.

4. I am a coach (or I am a dance instructor). How do I schedule a workshop for my team?

Please email or call to schedule a workshop that fits your team's schedule. We can work with sports teams, dance teams, groups of teenagers who could benefit from mental agility training. We travel to you!

5. What is a mental agility workshop?

We practice mindfulness techniques, meditation, yoga, mindful movement along with a variety of stress-reducing techniques that are proven to reduce anxiety and depression and to increase self-esteem, self-awareness, and improve relationships. Using these techniques, students will notice a difference in athletic performance on the field or on the stage, while also noting academic improvements.
